William George Miller (Bill) OAM. Bill Miller was one of the most
respected surf life savers in Australia. As well as Cabramatta Surf Life Saving Club, Bill was a Life Member of Surf Life Saving Australia, Surf Life Saving NSW and Surf Life Saving Sydney. He was also the Patron of Surf Life Saving Sydney. Bill dedicated 66 years to surf life saving as a Member of Cabramatta SLSC, holding many positions including: 5 years as President, 11 years as Captain and 20 years as Patron. He was accorded Life Membership of Cabramatta in 1958. Bill also held many executive and advisory positions at National, State, Branch and District level. On behalf of the Executive, the Management and Members of Cabramatta SLSC and all Australian surf life savers, I extend to Bill's wife - Faye, and his children Sandra-Jane, Vanessa and Julia, and their families - our deepest sympathy and condolences.
